#134 • Dance at the 25th St-Ambroise Montreal FRINGE Festival (part 1) • BIL

In celebration of the 25th St-Ambroise Montreal FRINGE Festival the Dirty Feet Podcast has invited a pile of local artists who are performing dance, or movement-related shows as a part of the festival, in for an interview. We start with Delphine Véronneau, the choreographer of La Playlist by Tuque et Capuche, a contemporary dance show set to live music. Next, Chloé Ouellet-Payeur tells us about Essai #2 by Les Débrouill-Art(des), a show made with a budget of $0. Stéphanie Juteau joins us to speak about her show, Utopie designed for children by herself and Danika Cormier. Melanie Sirois is presenting 7 The Root Of Self by Ephemeral Motion. Maxine Segalowitz represents TEAM GRECO and discusses their show, is this pretentious? Janie Pinard tell us about her clown and variety show, Les Bunheads & Friends. Uma Gahd (Ryan Sauvé) represents LAUREEN: Queen of the Tundra by vi.Va?VOOM! a political drag show. Marie-Noel Bêty from the performance company Cirquessence has a circus show at the festival called Les 2 voyageurs clandestins. Justine Lewis is Choreographer, Movement Director and Actor for Captain Aurora: A Superhero Musical by Kaleidoscope Theatre Montreal. Tessa J. Brown explains her multidisciplinary show Mark Twain in the Year 3000/Einstein Through Time by Philosofish. To top it all off, Laura Simms and Sehar Manji join us to talk about their new show, Total Liquidation by Wolfinger Productions.

Pour souligner les 25 ans du Festival St-Ambroise FRINGE de Montréal, le podcast Dirty Feet a invité une panoplie d’artistes locaux qui présentent de la danse, ou des créations en lien avec le mouvement pour une entrevue. Nous commençons avec une rencontre avec Dephine Véronneau, la chorégraphe de La Playlist de Tuque et Capuche, un spectacle de danse contemporaine avec musique live.
